instaMiniSeries (iMS) is a female led, New York City based creative agency specializing in the development and production of story-driven original programming for the global stage. Inspired by Instagram’s compact video platform, iMS creates episodic narratives that span a variety of genres. Our creative team focuses on original material with contemporary points of view to deliver an experience with branded stories for the content marketing industry. Our portfolio allows for collaborations with artists and brands from a variety of industries that entertain and create a lasting impression on viewers. iMS continues to intersect storytelling with social media in a unique way to generate authentic sharable experiences that entertain and inspire.
iMS, in conjunction with Pink Among Men, is proud to announce the launch of its sixth series, MURDERVILLE. An absurd mockumentary written, created and co-produced by Ginger Kearns & Chelsey Ng that follows two crime obsessed women trying to track a serial killer. When girls start to go missing in their quaint small town, all of their neighbors quickly become suspects and the klutzy but lucky ladies see if they can beat the authorities to catch the murderer. Beginning November 9th, 2020 only on the Instagram channel, @instaMiniSeries.

Nikki Borges - Co-Founder, Director, Producer
Nikki Borges is the co-founder and executive producer of instaMiniSeries.
At the end of 2015, Nikki directed "UNBOUND", the sixteen part instaMiniSeries for David Bowie's final album, Blackstar. Her collaboration with Bowie and Maverick Records was the first of its kind and featured prominently in the 2016 SXSW festival.
Freelance commercial work varies from promotional music festivals like Questlove’s Roots Picnic, to beauty campaigns for Allergan’s Spotlyte series. She has also directed extensive promotional material for branded content and even live events for Facebook and Google. In the fall of 2020, Nikki became the show runner for SoulPancake’s newest series, ‘Now What?’.
Nikki wears many hats - actor, director, producer, photographer - but not a fedora. Never a fedora.
Ceci Fernandez- Co-Creator, Producer, Head Writer
Ceci Fernandez is the co-creator, producer and head writer at instaMiniSeries.
In 2015 she joined the IMS team, writing and performing in the second series at iMS, Rota Fortunae, and has been advising on projects ever since.
Ceci is an actor, writer and producer currently residing in Brooklyn. She received her MFA from the Yale School of Drama. Ceci is the creator of Writers’ Gym, a writing collective in NYC. Along with working on a number of other collaborative writing projects, Ceci is fostering Laney and Louie, two velociraptors deceptively disguised as puppies.
Amanda De La Nuez- Co-Founder, Consulting Producer
Amanda de la Nuez is the co-founder and consulting producer of instaMiniSeries. She starred in iMS' first series, Silent Brokelyn, and SPARKLE: A Don Quixote Story and had guest appearances on Rota Fortunae and UNBOUND.
Amanda has continued to participate in the growth of instaMiniSeries, taking on different roles as: Associate Producer, Actor, Production Manager, and currently as a Consulting Producer. Amanda also greatly enjoys cafécitos, doggos, and organizing spreadsheets.
